The key to a great blog is great content. And the key to great content is creating and publishing great articles to your blog.

A great blog is simply a collection of articles around a theme.

Where should you get content?

How Not to Use PLR

In my opinion, you want to avoid using and recycling PLR material, unless it is really good, really unique, AND you rework it and spin it to reflect YOUR voice and your experience.

I'll admit that it is easier to rewrite than it is to write. It is easier to come up with ideas for articles if you are able to use PLR material for ideas.

But don't just stick raw PLR material on your blog for content and expect to get traffic.

In fact, you might just get shunned by the search engines for duplicate content.

What is more likely to happen is that you might get some traffic, but visitors will be disappointed. Why?

Becuase most PLR material is mush. Recycled mush. Much of PLR articles are written by article writers who just write articles, and may or may not know what they are talking about.

And visitors to your website when encountering poor content, will show their disappointment in leaving your blog.

Quickly.

Before you have a chance to make any money.

And never return!

So before you post any PLR material, ask yourself:

If I was looking for great content, does this meet my needs?
Is this what I am looking for?

Use PLR material as a jumping off point, as a beginning.

But create original content.

How to Create Posts

Be creative with your posts. The keywords in the title and content should match, and the title should be snappy and eye catching. You are looking to write great copy.

It is a skill that takes time and lots of lots of writing.

Blog posts are essential short articles. And you are going to write and publish articles of 300 to 500 words.

If you are not experienced writing articles, then you need to:

1. Write, write, write

2. Take courses or buy products that teach you how to write articles

3. Write, write, and write some more!!
